Profile

The Vita Coco Company, Inc.COCOConsumer Staples

Sells branded and private-label coconut water, coconut oil and smaller functional-beverage lines through retail, e-commerce and on-premise channels. The Americas anchor the business, while the Copra acquisition adds chilled Thai Nam Hom coconut water and owned production to a supply chain still centered on outside manufacturers.

Builds a beverage business around Vita Coco Coconut Water, retailer-branded coconut water and coconut oil, with smaller Vita Coco juice, coconut milk, Treats and PWR LIFT lines. Products move through club, grocery, mass, convenience, e-commerce and on-premise channels. North America is the commercial center; the international segment is anchored by the U.K.

Combines brand management, retailer access and supplier coordination with private-label programs that add scale. The recent Copra acquisition brings chilled Thai Nam Hom coconut water, the Copra brand and a Thailand factory to a network otherwise built around contract manufacturers and co-packers.

Results remain tied to coconut-water demand, suitable coconuts and packaging, global freight, and major distributor and retail customers. As a Delaware public benefit corporation, directors must balance stockholder interests, its stated public benefit and the interests of affected stakeholders.
