Profile
Supplies consumer products and foodservice items to retailers through a multiregional wholesale network, while operating a small natural-food store portfolio. Revenue is driven chiefly by wholesale distribution, whose offering combines delivery, merchandising, inventory support, information services, and trade credit.
Distributes cigarettes and other tobacco products alongside confectionery, beverages, groceries, health and beauty items, and foodservice products to convenience stores and other retailers. The wholesale network serves a broad multiregional U.S. footprint, providing purchasing, warehousing, route delivery, merchandising, data services, and trade credit.
Operates a smaller direct-to-consumer natural-food retail segment under Chamberlin's Natural Foods, Akin's Natural Foods, and Earth Origins Market, selling produce, prepared and packaged foods, supplements, personal care, and general merchandise in the Midwest and Florida. Its execution centers on frequent delivery, small-order fulfillment, product breadth, and inventory support.
Depends on tobacco-category demand, branded suppliers without long-term purchase contracts, vendor incentives, working-capital financing, credit quality, and regulated product availability. Wholesale accounts for almost all external revenue.
