Profile

Performance Food Group CompanyPFGCConsumer Staples

Distributes food, beverages, supplies, and related products to restaurants, institutions, convenience retailers, vending operators, theaters, and other food-away-from-home customers. Revenue comes through three North American distribution networks—Foodservice, Convenience, and Specialty—built through acquisitions and supported by local sales, procurement, warehousing, and delivery.

Distributes food and food-related products across North America through Foodservice, Convenience, and Specialty. Foodservice supplies restaurants and institutions; Convenience serves convenience retailers; Specialty focuses on candy, snacks, and beverages for vending, office coffee, theaters, hospitality, and other channels.

Combines proprietary and national brands with locally run distribution centers, procurement, warehousing, routing, delivery, and customer services such as menu development. Its acquisition-built network reaches independent operators and chains, with execution centered on product availability, food safety, and dependable delivery.

Growth and service continuity depend on integrating acquired businesses, retaining customers, maintaining supplier relationships, and managing labor, fleet capacity, and fuel costs. Many customer arrangements are non-exclusive, so price, differentiated products, and service shape switching decisions.
