Profile
Supplies nickel- and cobalt-based superalloys, investment-cast engine components, and hot-side turbocharger wheels to aerospace, industrial gas-turbine, and transportation markets, earning mainly from supply agreements with OEMs and suppliers. Vertical alloy integration serves its Aerospace and IGT production.
Organizes the group into Engine Products - Europe, Engine Products - North America, and Turbo Wheels. The engine businesses make nickel- and cobalt-based superalloys, investment-cast airfoils, and structural hot-section components for aeroengines and industrial gas turbines; Turbo Wheels casts hot-side turbocharger wheels for passenger, commercial, and off-highway vehicles.
Sales go mainly to engine and turbine OEMs and their suppliers under long-term agreements, with spot orders and aftermarket demand supplementing production demand. Manufacturing spans the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Mexico, China, and India; vertically integrated alloy operations supply Aerospace and IGT needs. Customer qualification, metallurgical and dimensional capability, quality, and delivery performance shape competition; execution also depends on capacity expansions and relationships with a concentrated customer base.
