Profile

Dyne Therapeutics, Inc.DYNHealth Care

Develops FORCE-platform therapeutics that carry oligonucleotide or enzyme payloads into muscle and the central nervous system. The pipeline is led by late-stage programs for Duchenne muscular dystrophy and myotonic dystrophy type 1; no product is approved, and manufacturing is outsourced.

Develops targeted therapies for genetically driven neuromuscular diseases using the FORCE platform, which couples a transferrin-receptor-targeting antibody fragment to oligonucleotide or enzyme payloads. The design aims to deliver medicines into skeletal, cardiac and smooth muscle and the central nervous system. Programs span Duchenne muscular dystrophy, myotonic dystrophy type 1, facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy and Pompe disease.

Lead programs are z-rostudirsen for exon-skipping-amenable Duchenne and z-basivarsen for myotonic dystrophy; both are in global late-stage development, and the former is under priority FDA review. The FSHD program has clearance to enter human testing, while the Pompe disease program remains preclinical. Commercial revenue depends on regulatory approval, and manufacturing is outsourced to contract organizations.
