Profile
Develops peptide-enabled oligonucleotide therapies for serious genetic neuromuscular and neurological diseases. Its active clinical focus is PGN-EDODM1 for myotonic dystrophy type 1, with no approved products or product-sales revenue.
Develops peptide-enabled oligonucleotide therapies for serious genetic neuromuscular and neurological diseases. The EDO platform pairs proprietary peptides with oligonucleotides to improve cellular uptake and nuclear delivery.
PGN-EDODM1, for myotonic dystrophy type 1, is the active clinical focus after development of the DMD candidate PGN-EDO51 ceased. The delivery technology originated in research at the University of Oxford and the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology.
Founded to develop the licensed delivery approach created from this research, the organization has no approved products or product-sales revenue. The FREEDOM2 trial is subject to an FDA partial hold tied to previously submitted preclinical pharmacology and toxicology studies, while sites outside the United States remained active. Research and clinical development define the operating model.
