Profile
Runs a next-generation-sequencing laboratory network spanning hereditary-cancer, reproductive-health, oncology, and rare-disease testing, anatomic pathology built through a string of cash-funded acquisitions, and contract sequencing for biopharma customers, while a wholly owned subsidiary advances a nanoencapsulated chemotherapy platform through mid-stage and early-stage cancer trials.
Operates a next-generation-sequencing laboratory spanning hereditary-cancer, reproductive-health, oncology, and rare-disease testing; an anatomic-pathology practice covering gastrointestinal, dermatopathology, breast, and hematopathology cases assembled through acquisitions; and a contract-sequencing unit serving biopharmaceutical and academic customers.
A wholly owned subsidiary runs a separate track: a proprietary nanoencapsulation drug-delivery platform advancing a lead paclitaxel candidate through a mid-stage trial in recurrent head-and-neck cancer, alongside a second candidate in early-stage dose escalation.
Testing volume during the pandemic built a large cash reserve funding every pathology acquisition without new debt or share issuance. The founder, who also chairs the board, holds roughly a third of outstanding shares, and operations concentrate in the United States alongside a minority stake in a Chinese joint venture.
The largest customer in the hereditary- and oncology-testing business has begun moving its testing in-house, a transition still working through segment results.
