Profile

Fluor CorporationFLRIndustrials

Provides engineering, procurement, construction, project-management and maintenance services across advanced manufacturing, mining, infrastructure, energy and government missions worldwide. Fees and labor markups come largely through reimbursable project contracts, with operations organized into Urban Solutions, Energy Solutions and Mission Solutions.

Provides engineering, procurement, construction, project-management, commissioning and maintenance services for large capital projects worldwide. Urban Solutions serves advanced technologies and manufacturing, data centers, life sciences, mining and metals, infrastructure and professional staffing; Energy Solutions covers oil and gas, chemicals, LNG, power and lower-carbon projects; Mission Solutions supports government nuclear, environmental, national-security and emergency-response programs.

A distributed execution platform, global sourcing network and experience mobilizing teams in remote or difficult locations underpin delivery across a project's life cycle. Revenue comes from negotiated fees, labor markups and project execution under reimbursable, lump-sum and hybrid contracts.

Most backlog uses reimbursable terms, while fixed-price work leaves the contractor exposed to schedule assumptions and unrecovered cost overruns. Government work is subject to procurement, security and export-control rules and can be modified or terminated by clients.
