Profile

FabrinetFNInformation Technology

Provides advanced optical packaging and precision manufacturing for data-center, communications-infrastructure, automotive, industrial-laser, medical, and sensor OEMs. Revenue comes mainly from data-center and communications programs, while volume production is centered in Thailand and sales are concentrated among a small customer group.

Provides outsourced advanced optical packaging and precision optical, electro-mechanical, and electronic manufacturing for OEMs. Core programs span data-center interconnects and communications infrastructure, including transceivers, transponders, switching modules, amplifiers, and active optical cables. Automotive components, industrial lasers, medical devices, sensors, and customized optics and glass broaden the mix.

Handles process design and engineering, supply-chain management, printed-circuit-board assembly, advanced packaging, integration, final assembly, and testing. Dedicated production teams and segregated factory-within-a-factory space help protect customer intellectual property while moving complex products from prototypes into volume production. Data-center and communications-infrastructure programs generate most revenue. Volume manufacturing is centered in Thailand, and a small group of customers accounts for most sales.
