Profile

Plexus Corp.PLXSInformation Technology

Designs, builds, supplies, and services complex products for aerospace and defense, healthcare and life sciences, and industrial customers. Revenue comes from outsourced product programs rather than proprietary products, usually through turnkey arrangements that include procuring and warehousing assembly materials.

Provides Design and Development, Supply Chain Solutions, New Product Introduction, Manufacturing, and Sustaining Services for complex products in Aerospace/Defense, Healthcare/Life Sciences, and Industrial markets. Work spans commercialization, procurement, full-volume production, repair, refurbishment, and end-of-life support, generally under turnkey arrangements in which materials are procured and warehoused for customers.

Operates facilities across the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with Asia-Pacific generating most sales. Standardized processes, product-development expertise, quality controls, and regulatory certifications support high-mix programs such as medical devices, aerospace and defense systems, industrial automation, and semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

Does not sell proprietary end products: revenue follows customers' outsourced programs. Demand can change or be canceled without long-term commitments, while execution depends on component availability, trade compliance, customer forecasts, and meeting demanding quality and regulatory requirements.
