Profile
Produces and distributes news, live sports and entertainment through cable networks, the FOX broadcast network, local stations, Tubi and FOX One. Advertising and distribution fees fund the portfolio, whose economics depend on audience scale, sports rights and pay-TV affiliate relationships.
Runs news, sports, entertainment and streaming businesses across two segments. Cable Network Programming includes Fox News Channel, Fox Business, FS1, FS2, Fox Deportes and the Big Ten Network; Television combines the FOX broadcast network, 29 owned stations, Tubi and entertainment production.
Serves primarily U.S. audiences and earns advertising, affiliate and other distribution fees, plus content revenue. Cross-platform production, promotion and ad sales let major live events move across national networks, local stations, Tubi and the subscription FOX One service.
Results depend on advertiser demand, affiliate pricing that offsets pay-TV subscriber declines, and access to costly sports rights. The proposed Roku acquisition would add a connected-TV platform and streaming distribution, but remains subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.
