Provides retail and business banking, deposits, real estate, commercial, agriculture and consumer loans, plus mortgage origination and servicing. Customers include individuals, small and midsize businesses, community organizations and public entities across the Mountain West and Southwest, including Texas.
Operates Glacier Bank through 18 separately branded, locally managed divisions, while centralizing technology, risk, compliance and other corporate functions. The model pairs local decision-making with a single bank charter and has expanded through internal growth and selective acquisitions.
Net interest income from lending and securities is the core earnings engine, supplemented by deposit, payment, mortgage and other service fees. Commercial real estate is the largest loan category, tying credit performance to property and business conditions in its markets. Results also depend on interest rates, deposit competition, acquisition integration and federal and state banking regulation.
