Provides IT and business consulting through a global services platform built over five decades. Growth has combined organic expansion with acquisitions under a documented Build and Buy strategy, including transactions that extended its U.S., European, Australian and U.K. presence.
Its history includes outsourcing and acquisitions that added U.S. federal-government work, digital-services capabilities, software and further geographic coverage. The business has also expanded through a large international transaction and more targeted additions in recent years.
Governance remains shaped by founder Serge Godin's control and an ownership culture in which most CGI Partners were shareholders. The Management Foundation supplies shared governance policies, organizational models and management frameworks across the business.
