Profile

Alphabet Inc.GOOGLCommunication Services

Operates Google Search, YouTube, Android, Gemini, consumer subscriptions, devices, and an enterprise cloud business, while funding Other Bets such as Waymo. Advertising supplies most revenue; subscriptions, app sales, hardware, and consumption- or subscription-based cloud services provide additional income.

Runs Google Services, Google Cloud, and a portfolio of Other Bets. Google Services spans Search, YouTube, Android, Chrome, Maps, Play, Gemini, subscriptions, and Pixel devices for users worldwide, earning primarily from advertising alongside subscriptions, app sales, and hardware.

Sells cloud infrastructure, data, AI, cybersecurity—including Wiz—and Workspace applications through consumption fees and subscriptions. Shared Google DeepMind research, custom chips, and technical infrastructure carry Gemini capabilities across Search, YouTube, Workspace, and Cloud. Other Bets includes Waymo autonomous ride-hailing and earlier-stage life-sciences ventures.

Advertising remains the largest source of cash, while distribution partners route search traffic. Competition, privacy, AI, and content regulation—and antitrust remedies targeting search or ad technology—can require changes to products, distribution, or business models.
