Profile

Garrett Motion Inc.GTXConsumer Discretionary

Designs and manufactures turbochargers, electric-boosting and fuel-cell compression systems, high-speed electric motors, and industrial compressors for OEM and aftermarket channels. Turbocharging for combustion and hybrid powertrains still drives most sales, while Europe accounts for roughly half of a single-segment global business.

Designs and manufactures turbochargers, electric boosting systems, fuel-cell air compressors, high-speed electric motors, and air and refrigerant compressors for vehicle makers, industrial customers, and independent aftermarket distributors. Core demand still comes from gasoline, diesel, natural-gas, and hybrid engines, while E-Powertrain, E-Cooling, marine, power-generation, data-center, and industrial-air applications extend the same engineering base.

Combines high-speed motors, power electronics, controls software, oil-free bearings, and systems integration with a global manufacturing and engineering footprint. Europe contributes roughly half of sales, with the rest spread across the United States, China, other Asian markets, and elsewhere.

Reports as one segment. Revenue is concentrated in OEM programs, while aftermarket demand draws on the installed base. Results depend on global vehicle production, emissions rules, customer release schedules, and the pace of hybrid and battery-electric adoption.

A 13F quarter can total more than the shares outstanding — sub-advisers file the same block twice, and a filer's own share count can be a quarter stale. No split is drawn from it.
