Profile

W.W. Grainger, Inc.GWWIndustrials

Distributes maintenance, repair and operating products to businesses and institutions through high-touch North American sales and service and the Zoro and MonotaRO online platforms. Most revenue comes from product sales to complex customers served by the Grainger brand, with digital endless-assortment businesses extending reach in the United States and Japan.

Distributes maintenance, repair and operating products such as safety gear, material-handling equipment, plumbing supplies, cleaning products, metalworking tools and hand tools to businesses and institutions. High-Touch Solutions N.A. serves complex customers across the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico through the Grainger brand, while Endless Assortment runs the online-first Zoro and MonotaRO platforms in the United States and Japan.

Combines broad in-stock availability with distribution centers, branches, technical support and inventory-management services; its network supports direct shipment, next-day delivery and same-day branch pickup. Zoro and MonotaRO extend selection through large digital catalogs and third-party fulfillment.

Revenue comes primarily from product sales. Demand follows customers’ production activity and capital spending, while service depends on supplier availability, logistics infrastructure and reliable digital ordering systems.

A 13F quarter can total more than the shares outstanding — sub-advisers file the same block twice, and a filer's own share count can be a quarter stale. No split is drawn from it.
