Profile

The Hershey CompanyHSYConsumer Staples

Sells chocolate, candy, mints, protein bars and salty snacks through retail and wholesale channels, led by Reese’s, Hershey’s, SkinnyPop and Dot’s Homestyle Pretzels. North America confectionery remains the core business, while the Milton Hershey School Trust retains voting control through Class B shares.

Builds a broad snacking portfolio around Reese’s, Hershey’s, Kisses, Kit Kat, Jolly Rancher and Twizzlers, spanning chocolate, non-chocolate candy, mints, protein bars and pantry products. SkinnyPop, LesserEvil, Pirate’s Booty and Dot’s Homestyle Pretzels extend the lineup into popcorn, puffs and pretzels.

Operates through North America Confectionery, North America Salty Snacks and International. Principal operations and markets remain in the United States, while manufacturing in Mexico, Brazil, India and Malaysia supports regional and export sales. A unified U.S. commercial model brings sweet, salty and protein brands to retailers through shared category insights, merchandising and sales execution.

Cocoa is the most significant raw material for chocolate, making procurement and price management central operating dependencies. Food-safety rules govern manufacturing and sales, while the Milton Hershey School Trust retains voting control through Class B shares.
