Profile

IQM Quantum Computers OyjIQMXInformation Technology

Builds and sells customer-owned superconducting quantum computers, cloud access, and HPC, support and application services for research and enterprise users. The vertically integrated business serves largely public-sector buyers and depends on converting complex system deliveries into revenue.

Designs and installs full-stack superconducting quantum computers for universities, research institutions, national laboratories, high-performance-computing centers and enterprises. Its portfolio spans IQM Spark for teaching and early experimentation, the upgradeable IQM Radiance on-premises platform, and IQM Halocene for quantum-error-correction research; IQM Resonance offers managed cloud access.

Earns revenue from system contracts, installations and upgrades, maintenance, training, cloud usage, and integration and application services. Customers across Europe, Asia-Pacific, North America and the Middle East can own and operate systems while retaining control of infrastructure and the intellectual property developed on them.

Integrates chip design, superconducting-chip fabrication, packaging, system assembly and quantum-data-center operations, alongside classical-HPC connectivity. Execution depends on technical reliability, specialized components and cryogenic systems, public-sector procurement, manufacturing and installation capacity, software-asset integration, and U.S. and Finnish public-company, privacy and cybersecurity obligations.
