Kailera Therapeutics, Inc.KLRAHealth Care

Develops injectable and oral obesity candidates, including ribupatide, KAI-7535, and KAI-4729. The pre-commercial business holds rights outside Greater China to Hengrui-originated programs and relies on Hengrui's prior development data.

Clinical development centers on injectable and oral obesity candidates: ribupatide, oral ribupatide, KAI-7535, and KAI-4729. Ribupatide is a GLP-1/GIP dual agonist, KAI-7535 an oral small-molecule GLP-1 receptor agonist, and KAI-4729 an injectable GLP-1/GIP/glucagon tri-agonist. The company has initiated global obesity trials, including a late-stage clinical program for ribupatide injection.

Rights cover development, manufacturing, and commercialization outside China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, while Hengrui retains responsibility in Greater China. The pre-commercial model relies on Hengrui's prior nonclinical and clinical work and on completing further development and commercialization outside Greater China.
