Profile

Kosmos Energy Ltd.KOSEnergy

Explores, develops and produces oil and gas through Ghana's Jubilee and TEN fields, Greater Tortue Ahmeyim LNG, and deepwater Gulf of America assets. Current revenue exposure is centered on Ghana and the Gulf after the Equatorial Guinea production sale.

Explores, develops and produces offshore oil and gas through current operating pillars: Ghana's Jubilee and TEN fields, Greater Tortue Ahmeyim across Mauritania and Senegal, and deepwater Gulf of America assets. Ghana remains the largest current producing area, while the Gulf adds a U.S. deepwater platform and GTA brings LNG, condensate and gas exposure.

Built its public identity around basin-opening West African discoveries, then added Gulf production through the Deep Gulf Energy acquisition. Recent portfolio cleanup removed Equatorial Guinea production, leaving exploration licenses there and in Sao Tome and Principe outside the current revenue base.

Revenue depends on hydrocarbon sales volumes and realized oil and gas prices. Execution also depends on offshore project operations, host-country approvals, partners and debt reduction actions tied to asset sales and equity financing.
