Profile

Centrus Energy Corp.LEUEnergy

Sells enrichment work, low-enriched uranium and natural uranium to nuclear utilities, while Technical Solutions provides American Centrifuge manufacturing, engineering and operations services to public and private customers. Near-term fuel deliveries remain heavily dependent on Russian supply, while domestic expansion depends on government contracts, approvals and capital.

Supplies low-enriched uranium components to nuclear utilities in the United States and overseas, earning most revenue from separative work units while also selling natural uranium and combined enriched product. The LEU segment pairs long-term purchases, spot supply and inventory with multi-year utility contracts.

Technical Solutions performs engineering, manufacturing and operations work built around American Centrifuge technology and federal enrichment contracts. The Piketon cascade completed the demonstration program’s HALEU production and awaits agreements with the Department of Energy for commercial operation; centrifuge manufacturing is expanding in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Near-term fuel deliveries depend heavily on Russian supplier TENEX and the waivers, export licenses and trade rules governing those shipments. Domestic expansion also depends on customer commitments, capital, federal contracts, appropriations and the government lease at Piketon.
