Profile
Provides financing products and credit-enablement services to Chinese small-business owners, alongside consumer finance and digital banking. Lending-related business is the main operating line, while Ping An's control and PRC regulation shape the model.
Supplies financing products and credit-enablement services that help financial-institution partners reach Chinese small-business owners. It also provides consumer-finance products and services to retail consumers.
Retail credit and enablement is the core lending-related line. Licensed Ping An Consumer Finance provides consumer loans, while digital banking covers retail and SME banking.
Operations are concentrated in China and run through subsidiaries and consolidated affiliated entities. The model depends on institutional funding partners, Ping An's control, and PRC oversight of lending, consumer protection, capital reserves, risk management, and regulator relationships. P2P products were discontinued, and the online wealth-management business is being wound down.
