Profile
Carries containerized freight across Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, Micronesia, and expedited Asia–Southern California routes, while selling brokerage, forwarding, warehousing, and supply-chain services. Ocean transportation supplies most of the business, with core domestic routes governed by Jones Act requirements.
Runs ocean freight networks linking the U.S. West Coast with Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, and Micronesia, plus expedited China-to-Long Beach services and routes serving Okinawa and South Pacific islands. Ocean Transportation also includes stevedoring, refrigerated cargo, inland transport, and terminal activities, supported by a stake in a West Coast terminal joint venture.
Extends that network through an asset-light Logistics segment spanning rail intermodal and highway brokerage, freight forwarding, warehousing, distribution, and supply-chain management across North America and Asia. Fixed schedules, dedicated terminal access, and fast transpacific cargo availability underpin the service model. The Hawaii and Alaska trades operate under the Jones Act, while China service depends on transpacific demand and customers paying a premium for speed and reliability.
