Profile

MKS Inc.MKSIInformation Technology

Supplies vacuum-process controls, photonics and laser systems, and surface-chemistry and plating technologies to semiconductor, electronics and packaging, and specialty industrial customers. Products generate most revenue, most sales go to international customers, and operations depend on global manufacturing networks, technology demand, connected systems, and Atotech-related debt service.

Supplies instruments, subsystems, systems, and process-control technologies used in semiconductor manufacturing, electronics and packaging, and specialty industrial applications. Vacuum Solutions covers pressure, flow, gas delivery and analysis, reactive-gas systems, power delivery, and sensing.

Photonics Solutions spans lasers, optics, precision motion, vibration control, and laser-based manufacturing systems. Materials Solutions adds process chemistry, surface modification, plating equipment, software, and services. Combining these domains supports control of multiple stages around advanced-manufacturing workpieces.

Most revenue comes from international customers, with significant activity across major Asian manufacturing centers. Performance depends on semiconductor and advanced-electronics demand, global production and customer networks, connected enterprise systems, successful integration of the Atotech portfolio, and servicing the debt used to fund that expansion.
