Profile

Mueller Industries, Inc.MLIIndustrials

Manufactures copper tube and fittings, precision metal products, electrical wire and HVACR components through three operating segments. A broad international footprint supports plumbing, construction, climate-control and electrical-infrastructure customers, while acquisitions extend adjacent manufacturing capabilities.

Manufactures copper tube, fittings and line sets through Piping Systems; brass rod, specialty tube, valves, machined parts, wire and cable through Industrial Metals; and heat exchangers, pressure components and flexible duct through Climate. These products serve plumbing, construction, HVACR and electrical-infrastructure markets.

Operations extend across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Great Britain, South Korea, the Middle East and China. Long-tenured management combines factory reinvestment with acquisitions adjacent to existing metals-processing capabilities, while acquired businesses often retain local management.

Demand depends on construction and HVACR activity. Production also depends on copper and other raw-material availability, energy costs, tariffs, trade policy, successful acquisition integration and labor continuity across a union-represented workforce.
