Profile
Produces potash, nitrogen and phosphate and sells crop inputs, seed, financing and agronomic services through a retail network spanning North America, South America and Australia. Four segments combine upstream nutrient production with direct farm distribution.
Combines crop-nutrient production with direct agricultural retail. Retail supplies crop nutrients, crop-protection products, seed, merchandise, financing and agronomic services across North America, South America and Australia.
Potash, Nitrogen and Phosphate form the upstream portfolio, with each segment organized around its nutrient chemistry and supported by freight, transportation and distribution activities. The operating model joins production assets inherited from PotashCorp with the farm-facing network inherited from Agrium.
Management priorities center on simplifying the portfolio, operational excellence and disciplined capital allocation. Results depend on crop acreage and prices, nutrient supply and demand, weather, natural-gas and sulfur availability, transportation capacity, trade restrictions, environmental regulation and geopolitical conditions.
