Profile
Mines and processes phosphate rock, produces potash, and sells crop nutrients and animal-feed ingredients through Phosphate, Potash, and Mosaic Fertilizantes. Integrated mines, plants, and distribution networks span North America and Brazil, while export potash moves through Canpotex.
Mines and processes phosphate rock into DAP, MAP, MicroEssentials, and animal-feed ingredients, while producing potash fertilizers from Saskatchewan. The Phosphate segment operates in Florida, Louisiana, and Peru; Potash serves North American and export customers; and Mosaic Fertilizantes mines, manufactures, blends, and distributes crop nutrients across Brazil and Paraguay.
Integrates mines with chemical plants, ports, warehouses, and blending facilities, supporting delivery across North America, Brazil, and other agricultural markets. Mosaic Biosciences adds biological fertilizer complements intended to improve nutrient use efficiency and crop performance.
Earnings remain tied to fertilizer prices, planting demand, sulfur and ammonia costs, and operating permits. Canadian potash sold outside the United States and Canada moves exclusively through Canpotex, while phosphate processing creates phosphogypsum requiring regulated storage, reclamation, and long-term closure management.
