Profile

Orange County Bancorp, Inc.OBTFinancials

Runs a relationship-based bank and wealth-management platform centered on Orange Bank & Trust. The business gathers deposits, makes commercial and consumer loans, and earns trust and investment-advisory fees across the Hudson Valley and New York metro area.

Operates through two segments: Banking and Wealth Management. Banking is anchored by Orange Bank & Trust, which gathers deposits, makes commercial real estate, construction, commercial and industrial, residential, home equity, and consumer loans, and supports clients with cash management, escrow, merchant, ATM, telephone, and internet banking services.

Serves a concentrated New York footprint across Orange, Westchester, Rockland, and Bronx Counties, with nearby Connecticut and New Jersey markets in the broader service area. Wealth Management adds trust administration, Special Needs Trust and Guardianship services, investment management, and advisory work through the bank and Orange Investment Advisors.

Competes on relationship banking, local credit decisions, and senior-management access. The business depends on regulated banking operations, local deposit relationships, commercial real estate credit quality, and competition from banks, credit unions, non-bank financial firms, and technology-enabled providers.
