Profile

OceanaGold CorporationOGCMaterials

Produces and sells gold doré or bullion from mining operations in the United States and New Zealand, plus gold-copper concentrate from Didipio in the Philippines. Commodity sales concentrate the business in four mines, even though its operations span three countries.

Operates the Haile gold mine in South Carolina, Macraes and Waihi in New Zealand, and the majority-owned Didipio gold-copper mine in the Philippines. Coordinates exploration, development, mining and ore processing at those sites, selling gold doré or bullion; Didipio also produces a saleable gold-copper concentrate.

Maintains a mix of open-pit and underground operations, common processing capacity, water-management infrastructure and development work across the portfolio. Revenue depends on physical production, metal content and sales-contract pricing, while operations depend on mine stability, plant availability, skilled labor and reliable inputs. Each site also requires operating, environmental, water, land-access and closure approvals in its jurisdiction.
