Profile

Pfizer Inc.PFEHealth Care

Develops and sells prescription medicines and vaccines across internal medicine, oncology, immunology, rare disease and infectious disease, supported by global research, manufacturing and commercial operations. Biopharma is the sole reportable segment, and results depend on product approvals, payer access and replacing revenue as major medicines lose market exclusivity.

Discovers, develops, manufactures and sells prescription medicines and vaccines across internal medicine, oncology, vaccines, inflammation and immunology, rare disease and hospital care. Key franchises include the Eliquis anticoagulant, Prevnar pneumococcal vaccines, Vyndaqel cardiomyopathy treatments, Ibrance and Seagen-derived cancer medicines such as Padcev, plus Comirnaty and Paxlovid. Most revenue comes from the United States, with products sold across international markets.

Combines internal research with licensing, partnerships and acquisitions, then uses a global clinical, manufacturing and commercial network to move therapies from trials into regulated markets. Biopharma is the sole reportable segment; Pfizer CentreOne also provides contract development, manufacturing and specialty active ingredients. Revenue depends on regulatory approvals, payer access, successful clinical programs and patent protection, while several established medicines face generic or biosimilar competition as exclusivity expires.
