Profile

Peraso Inc.PRSOInformation Technology

Sells millimeter-wave ICs and integrated antenna modules to equipment makers and distributors, with additional engineering, license and royalty revenue. The fabless business depends on OEM design wins and external production partners while legacy memory products are phased out.

Designs 60 GHz millimeter-wave chipsets, phased-array antenna modules, firmware and software for fixed-wireless access, backhaul, tactical communications, transportation, and high-bandwidth device links. PERSPECTUS and VERSATUS module families combine silicon, antennas and software for long-range point-to-point and point-to-multipoint networks.

Operates as a single-segment fabless semiconductor business, selling to equipment makers, distributors and other customers; non-recurring engineering, technology licenses and royalties provide additional revenue streams. Revenue is globally distributed, with Taiwan its largest destination and Europe and North America also material. Designs products and intellectual property internally, while independent contractors handle wafer fabrication, assembly, testing and packaging; customer adoption depends on equipment makers integrating the technology into finished products. Legacy memory IC revenue is not expected to remain meaningful after the sole foundry discontinued its applicable process.
