Generates charter income by owning tanker vessels that carry crude oil and refined products for global oil, trading, and tanker-management customers. Its small fleet is shifting toward contracted, fixed-rate employment while newbuild orders add product and Suezmax capacity.
Owns Aframax/LR2 and Suezmax tankers that carry crude oil and refined products for oil companies, commodity traders, and tanker managers worldwide. Vessels sit in separate wholly owned subsidiaries and generate charter hire through time charters, pools, and spot voyages.
Operates a small fleet with high fixed-charter coverage, renewing and expanding it through acquisitions, newbuilding orders, and sales of older ships. Its planned LR1 product/chemical tanker and future Suezmax tankers extend the fleet across adjacent product and crude-oil markets, with time charters arranged from delivery.
Depends on tanker rates and oil-trade patterns when charters renew, as well as financing, crews, vessel availability, and maritime safety, emissions, and pollution rules. Chairperson Aliki Paliou can determine shareholder votes through Series C preferred shares.
