Profile
Builds and sells the Polestar 2, 3, 4, and 5 premium electric vehicles through an expanding retail network. Its asset-light model draws on Volvo and Geely engineering and manufacturing capabilities.
Builds and sells the Polestar 2, 3, 4, and 5 premium electric vehicles through an expanding retail network. Its asset-light model uses Volvo and Geely engineering and manufacturing capabilities rather than a full legacy manufacturing base.
Production spans North America and Asia, while the Polestar 7 is planned for Europe. Europe accounts for most retail sales volume after U.S. authorities did not authorize sales of future model-year vehicles under the Connected Vehicle Rule. Existing U.S. Polestar 3 and 4 stock remains available, and the business depends on retail-network expansion and its Volvo/Geely relationships.
