Profile

Rush Enterprises, Inc.RUSHAConsumer Discretionary

Sells new and used commercial vehicles through Rush Truck Centers and earns additional revenue from parts, repair, collision work, upfitting, leasing, rentals, financing and insurance. A single Truck Segment spans the United States and Ontario, with aftermarket products and services contributing most gross profit.

Operates Rush Truck Centers, an integrated commercial-vehicle dealership network across the United States and Ontario. New and used heavy-, medium- and light-duty trucks and buses generate most revenue; aftermarket parts, maintenance, repair, collision work and upfitting provide post-sale support. Leasing, rentals, third-party financing and insurance round out the offering.

Network scale supports fleet customers through broad parts inventory, mobile technicians, on-site maintenance and the ability to redistribute vehicles and trade-ins among locations. Aftermarket products and services produce most gross profit, reducing exposure to cyclical vehicle orders. Operations sit in one Truck Segment and depend on commercial-vehicle demand, skilled technicians, inventory financing and franchise agreements with manufacturers, particularly Peterbilt and International.
