Profile

Penske Automotive Group, Inc.PAGConsumer Discretionary

Operates franchised auto and commercial-truck dealerships, selling vehicles and recurring service, parts, finance, insurance, and collision work across North America and international markets. Retail Automotive is the core business, while Australasian distribution and a minority stake in Penske Transportation Solutions extend the portfolio into power systems, truck leasing, and logistics.

Operates franchised auto dealerships across the United States and several international markets, selling new and used vehicles alongside service, parts, finance and insurance placement, and collision work. Retail Automotive is the core business, complemented by CarShop used-vehicle centers.

Runs Premier Truck Group dealerships in the United States and Canada, while distributing commercial vehicles, engines, power systems, parts, and services mainly in Australia and New Zealand. A minority stake in Penske Transportation Solutions adds truck leasing, rental, maintenance, and logistics exposure.

Acquisition-led portfolio management, manufacturer relationships, vehicle supply, consumer credit, discretionary demand, freight conditions, and UK finance regulation shape results. Majority ownership by Penske Corporation makes it a controlled company, and operations have depended on Roger Penske's leadership since 1999.
