Profile
Provides EDA software, verification hardware, reusable silicon IP, and Ansys simulation tools through subscription and upfront licenses. Its two segments span chip and system design, with a global customer base and demand tied to semiconductor design activity.
Provides electronic design automation software and verification hardware for designing, testing, and manufacturing integrated circuits. The Design Automation segment also houses Ansys simulation and analysis software, which models structures, fluids, thermal behavior, and electronics for product development across semiconductor, aerospace, automotive, industrial, and other markets.
Supplies Design IP—interface blocks, logic libraries, embedded memories, security IP, and related implementation services—for reuse inside chips. Term-based software licenses and support generate much of the recurring revenue stream, while IP, hardware, and some simulation products are recognized upfront. Its integrated workflow connects chip implementation and verification with multiphysics system simulation. Operations are global, with roughly half of revenue outside the United States, and depend on new semiconductor design projects, compatibility with major foundry processes, and compliance with export controls.

Ownership
A 13F quarter can total more than the shares outstanding — sub-advisers file the same block twice, and a filer's own share count can be a quarter stale. No split is drawn from it.
