Offers public-market exposure to CLO equity and mezzanine tranches backed mainly by U.S. senior secured loans. It is externally managed, with investment results tied to underlying CLO and leveraged-loan cash flows and valuations.
Designed as a publicly traded vehicle for CLO exposure, the company seeks high current income and, secondarily, capital appreciation through equity and mezzanine tranches of CLOs.
This portfolio is concentrated in third-party CLO equity and mezzanine positions backed primarily by U.S. senior secured loans issued to U.S. obligors. The company may use loan-accumulation facilities to purchase loans before a CLO is issued.
An external adviser manages investments while the board oversees the business and Sound Point Administration LLC provides administration. Cash flows and valuations depend on the underlying CLO and leveraged-loan exposures.
