Alaunos Therapeutics, Inc.TCRTHealth Care

Develops ALN1003, a preclinical oral small molecule for obesity and related metabolic disorders, while receiving limited royalty income from legacy oncology asset darinaparsin. Its model relies on external financing, consultants, CDMOs and eventual regulatory clearance rather than product sales.

Develops ALN1003, an investigational oral small molecule for obesity and related metabolic disorders. The active program is preclinical, testing a non-hormonal, non-incretin approach to insulin resistance, adipose signaling and hepatic lipid metabolism; it had not entered human trials.

Operates from Fort Lauderdale with a minimal internal team and consultants, outsourcing active-pharmaceutical-ingredient and drug-product work to a limited set of CDMOs. The former oncology business survives mainly as a small royalty interest from Japanese licensee Solasia's darinaparsin sales, while legacy TCR-T assets have not found a buyer or licensee.

Depends on new financing, regulatory clearance for human testing and external manufacturing partners; no current candidate has an IND or an issued obesity-program patent.
