Profile
Supplies reagents, assay consumables, and analytical instruments for protein analysis, spatial biology, molecular diagnostics, and clinical quality control to researchers, biopharma companies, and clinical laboratories. Consumables provide most revenue; Protein Sciences is the larger of two segments, and a planned acquisition by Merck KGaA remains pending.
Develops and manufactures life-science reagents, analytical instruments, and diagnostic products for academic researchers, biopharma companies, and clinical laboratories. Protein Sciences, the larger segment, pairs a mostly internally manufactured catalog of proteins, antibodies, small molecules, and immunoassays under R&D Systems, Tocris, and Novus with ProteinSimple platforms for automated western blotting and other protein-analysis workflows.
Diagnostics and Spatial Biology sells RNAscope in-situ hybridization assays, Lunaphore COMET spatial-profiling instruments, Asuragen carrier-screening and oncology kits, and controls and calibrators for clinical diagnostics. Exosome Diagnostics has been divested. Sales span North America, Europe, China, and distributor-served markets, while a broad consumables portfolio supports repeat laboratory workflows. Demand depends on academic and biopharma research, bioprocessing activity, and regulated diagnostic markets. An agreed acquisition by Merck KGaA remains subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.

Ownership
A 13F quarter can total more than the shares outstanding — sub-advisers file the same block twice, and a filer's own share count can be a quarter stale. No split is drawn from it.
