Profile

Tecogen Inc.TGENIndustrials

Sells built-to-order natural-gas cogeneration systems, engine-driven chillers, emissions controls, and related accessories. Services long-term maintenance contracts and produces energy at host sites through owned equipment, with lifecycle service as the core revenue base.

Builds to order TecoPower and InVerde cogeneration and microgrid systems, Tecochill engine-driven chillers, Tecofrost refrigeration equipment, Ultera emissions controls, and installation accessories. These systems generate on-site electricity and useful heat or provide cooling by using natural-gas engines, serving hospitals, education, hospitality, multifamily, industrial, and food-processing sites, with data centers an emerging target.

Maintains equipment through factory service centers, long-term maintenance agreements, parts, and remote CHPInsight monitoring, while ADGE owns selected host-site systems and sells their power or thermal output under long-term contracts. Its economics depend on the regional spread between natural gas and grid electricity, plus permitting, emissions rules, utility interconnection, incentives, supplier availability, and conversion of early data-center demand through the Vertiv relationship.
