Profile

UniFirst CorporationUNFIndustrials

Rents, launders, repairs, and replaces workplace uniforms through recurring delivery routes, while also providing facility, cleanroom, first-aid, safety, and nuclear decontamination services. Most activity sits in the uniform and facility segment, supported by multi-year service contracts across North America.

Designs, manufactures, rents, cleans, delivers, and sells workplace uniforms and protective clothing through recurring pickup-and-replacement routes. Uniform & Facility Service Solutions also covers floor mats, mops, restroom supplies, cleanroom garments, and limited cleanroom cleaning across the United States and Canada. First Aid & Safety Solutions supplies managed cabinets, nonprescription medicines, safety products, and training.

Combines route service with in-house garment and floor-mat manufacturing, supporting customization and control over quality and turnaround. A smaller Other segment handles nuclear garment decontamination in the United States and Europe. Revenue depends on multi-year contracts, customer employment levels, route retention, and input costs. Industrial laundries face wastewater rules, while nuclear facilities require dedicated licenses. A pending acquisition by Cintas remains subject to regulatory approval.
