Profile

Visteon CorporationVCConsumer Discretionary

Designs cockpit electronics and software for global automakers, spanning instrument clusters, displays, infotainment, SmartCore domain controllers, battery-management systems and power electronics. Operates as one Electronics segment whose sales depend on vehicle-production volumes, successful program launches and a concentrated customer base.

Designs and manufactures the electronics and software that organize a vehicle’s cockpit: digital instrument clusters, information displays, infotainment, SmartCore cockpit domain controllers and CognitoAI. Battery-management systems, high-voltage power electronics and engineering services extend the portfolio into electrified vehicles, while passenger cars, commercial vehicles and two-wheelers broaden the customer base.

Operates as one Electronics segment with engineering and manufacturing across the Americas, Europe and Asia. Scalable hardware-software platforms support multiple vehicle variants and consolidate cockpit functions on shared computing. A recent functional-safety software acquisition adds controller-architecture services, while D6Sigma applies the CognitoAI platform to industrial vision automation. Revenue depends on converting automaker awards into production launches, customer vehicle volumes and negotiated pricing; Ford and General Motors remain the largest customers.

A 13F quarter can total more than the shares outstanding — sub-advisers file the same block twice, and a filer's own share count can be a quarter stale. No split is drawn from it.
