Profile

Verizon Communications Inc.VZCommunication Services

Sells recurring wireless and broadband connectivity to consumers, businesses, governments, and carriers through Verizon Consumer Group and Verizon Business Group. Postpaid wireless anchors the model, while Frontier-expanded fiber and fixed wireless access extend home and business broadband across the United States.

Provides wireless service, devices, and home internet through Verizon Consumer Group, spanning postpaid and prepaid plans, Fios and Frontier fiber, and fixed wireless access. The Frontier acquisition extended the fiber footprint to 31 states and Washington, D.C., widening the base for bundled mobile and home connectivity.

Serves businesses, governments, carriers, and wholesale partners through Verizon Business Group, with mobility, broadband, IoT, security, managed networking, and fleet-management offerings. Operations are concentrated in the United States, while the international enterprise wireline arm is planned to enter an equally owned venture with BT after regulatory approval. The network requires sustained capital investment and depends on licensed spectrum and federal, state, and local telecommunications regulation.
