Profile

Xometry, Inc.XMTRIndustrials

Sells custom parts and assemblies through an online marketplace that quotes jobs, selects independent manufacturers, and manages fulfillment. Most revenue comes from marketplace orders; Thomasnet advertising, supplier payments, and shop-management software extend the platform around a predominantly U.S. business.

Runs Xometry Marketplace for custom parts and assemblies. Buyers upload designs for automated pricing, lead times, and manufacturability feedback across CNC machining, sheet metal, 3D printing, molding, and casting; orders are assigned to independent suppliers and managed through delivery.

Earns most revenue as the seller of marketplace parts, not a referral broker. Thomasnet provides industrial supplier discovery and marketing; Instant Pay and Workcenter support supplier cash flow and shop operations, while Teamspace coordinates buyer teams.

Serves a predominantly U.S. customer base alongside Europe and Asia. Automated quoting and job routing consolidate fragmented sourcing into one workflow. Because prices are set before a supplier is secured and Xometry remains responsible for part quality, margins depend on pricing accuracy and supplier execution.
