Profile

Xerox Holdings CorporationXRXIndustrials

Traces to a 1906 photographic-paper maker that commercialized xerography and gave photocopying itself a verb; now split between a Print and Other segment reshaped by the 2025 Lexmark acquisition and a newly built IT Solutions segment, serving customers in the United States and international markets while managing a shrinking print equipment base.

Traces to a Rochester, New York photographic-paper maker founded in 1906 that later commercialized xerography, the dry-toner copying process so completely adopted that the resulting brand name entered everyday language as a verb for photocopying.

A research lab it built in the 1970s invented the graphical interface, computer mouse, Ethernet, and laser printing; only laser printing became a lasting business, the rest commercialized chiefly by others.

The current portfolio splits between a Print and Other segment, broadened by the 2025 purchase of printer maker Lexmark, and a newly built IT Solutions segment from a 2024 IT-services acquisition, reaching customers across the United States and international markets.

Revenue still depends on a print equipment and page-volume base that has shrunk for years, and the business is mid-integration of its largest acquisition while restructuring its cost base.
