Profile

Asbury Automotive Group, Inc.ABGConsumer Discretionary

Sells new and used vehicles through franchised dealerships, then earns additional revenue from parts, service, collision repair, third-party financing arrangements, and protection products. A two-segment structure pairs the dealership network with Total Care Auto, its in-house finance-and-insurance product administrator.

Operates a regional U.S. network of franchised dealerships and collision centers selling new and used vehicles across import, luxury, and domestic brands. The Dealerships segment also earns from maintenance, repair, replacement parts, collision work, third-party financing arrangements, and finance-and-insurance products. Total Care Auto, the second reportable segment, administers vehicle service contracts, guaranteed asset protection, and prepaid maintenance sold through affiliated dealerships.

Connects vehicle retail to ongoing parts and service work and to protection products administered in-house. Acquisitions have expanded the network, while recent divestitures reshaped it to 158 dealership locations spanning markets from the Southeast to New England and the Mountain West. Operations depend on manufacturer dealer and framework agreements, third-party lenders, floorplan inventory financing, and federal and state automotive regulation.
