Profile

ACI Worldwide, Inc.ACIWInformation Technology

Provides issuing, acquiring, real-time payment, merchant orchestration, fraud, and bill-payment software to banks, intermediaries, merchants, and billers. Revenue comes from licenses, cloud subscriptions, transaction-linked fees, maintenance, and implementation; bank and merchant products are global, while bill-payment products are sold only in the United States.

Develops payment software for banks, intermediaries, merchants, and billers through its Payment Software and Biller reportable segments. Payment Software spans ACI Issuing, ACI Acquiring, account-to-account real-time payments, ACI Connetic, the ACI Payments Orchestration Platform for merchants, and fraud management. Biller centers on Speedpay ONE for electronic bill presentment and payment across utilities, lending, insurance, healthcare, higher education, government, and telecommunications.

Earns revenue from term licenses and capacity fees, cloud subscriptions and transaction-linked platform fees, maintenance, and implementation services. Bank and merchant products are sold globally, while bill-payment products are limited to the United States. Its systems perform authentication, authorization, switching, settlement, fraud checking, and reconciliation for payments that run continuously. Operations depend on uninterrupted data-center and cloud infrastructure, payment-network rules, banking oversight, and money-transmitter licensing.
