Profile

American International Group, Inc.AIGFinancials

Underwrites commercial and personal property-and-casualty coverage through North America Commercial, International Commercial, and Global Personal, earning premiums and investment income. A global broker and partner network supports specialty, casualty, financial-lines, property, accident-and-health, and personal products, while results depend on risk pricing, reserves, reinsurance, and regulated capital.

Underwrites commercial and personal property-and-casualty risks through North America Commercial, International Commercial, and Global Personal. Commercial products include property and short-tail coverage, casualty, financial lines, and global specialty; personal operations center on accident and health and personal lines. Talbot adds specialty underwriting through the Lloyd’s market, while Lexington serves U.S. excess-and-surplus risks.

Earns primarily from insurance premiums and investment income, using brokers, agents, marketplaces, and network partners to reach clients in more than 200 countries and jurisdictions. Underwriting and claims expertise, multinational capabilities, and specialized franchises support large corporate, middle-market, small-business, and individual customers.

Operates as a focused general insurer after completing the Corebridge separation, while maintaining a minority investment and quota-share relationship with Convex. Results depend on pricing risk, estimating loss reserves, investment performance, catastrophe losses, reinsurance recoveries, and insurance-capital rules across multiple jurisdictions.
