Profile
Develops RNA interference medicines with its TRiM platform and sells REDEMPLO for familial chylomicronemia syndrome. Revenue combines product sales with licensing, milestones and royalties from partnered programs, while wholly owned candidates span cardiometabolic, obesity, pulmonary and central nervous system targets.
Develops and commercializes RNA interference medicines using TRiM, a ligand-mediated platform designed to deliver small interfering RNA to specific cell types. REDEMPLO (plozasiran), its first commercial product, treats familial chylomicronemia syndrome and is approved in the United States, Canada, China, Australia and the European Union; Sanofi holds Greater China rights.
Advances wholly owned programs including plozasiran for severe hypertriglyceridemia, zodasiran for inherited high cholesterol, ARO-INHBE and ARO-ALK7 for obesity, ARO-RAGE for pulmonary disease and ARO-MAPT for neurological disease. Its portfolio also includes candidates licensed to Sarepta, Amgen, Takeda, GSK, Novartis and Madrigal.
Combines discovery, clinical development, commercialization and growing in-house oligonucleotide manufacturing. Product sales coexist with collaboration payments and royalties, while trial outcomes, regulatory approvals and partners' development decisions govern much of the pipeline's economics.
