Astrotech CorporationASTCIndustrials

Commercializes AMS mass-spectrometry technology through subsidiaries that develop security, analytical, and process-control devices. 1st Detect, its security subsidiary, holds an exclusive AMS license for passenger, cargo, and narcotics-detection applications.

Astrotech Technologies holds and licenses its AMS platform to application-specific subsidiaries. The group’s devices include TRACER 1000 security detectors, the AgLAB-1000 series for hemp and cannabis processing, BreathTest-1000, and Pro-Control 1000.

1st Detect holds an exclusive AMS license for passenger screening, cargo security, and narcotics detection. Its detectors target airports, borders, cargo hubs, critical infrastructure, corrections, military bases, and law enforcement.

The operating model centers on commercializing AMS through these businesses. The board has authorized a potential sale process for 1st Detect; the reviewed filings do not establish that a sale closed.
